DISTRICT League sides Balgownie Rangers and Woonona will begin their battle for promotion to the Illawarra Premier League tomorrow.

Judy Masters Oval will be the venue for the first leg of the two-leg play-off, with the second game at Ocean Park on Sunday from 2.30pm.

The away-goals rule will be in operation, but if the teams are level on aggregate at the end of the second leg, they will play 30 minutes of extra time.

If the teams can't be split after extra time, the chance for promotion to the Illawarra's top flight will be decided by a penalty shoot-out.

Meantime, the postponed Dandaloo versus Port Kembla fixtures and minor grade games between Albion Park White Eagles and Coniston Lions are likely to be played next week.
