THE RTA will next week begin work on $100,000 worth of improvements to a section of Picton Rd.
Included in the work will be cutting rock, clearing vegetation, renewing drains and remarking lines to widen the shoulder and improve safety and traffic flow. An RTA spokesman said the site will be 1.5km west of the Mt Keira Rd turn-off in the eastbound direction. Traffic controls will be in place for the duration of the work, expected to last one week from this Monday.
